I was actually drafted after my junior year at University of Pacific by the Philadelphia Phillies organization but elected to go back for my senior year to get my degree (also figured I’d get drafted again.) I did not get drafted after my senior year and ended up playing signing as a free agent with Chico, where I played for four years. My claim to fame these days is I played with Daniel Nava, who is with the Red Sox now and hit a grand slam in his first pro at bat.
