Day 1 of our tour is in the books! Great stuff today in Toronto and Waterloo. Dave Good is up here and we’re having a great time. Here’s a video I made this morning when I was slightly less enthused. Things got a lot better as the day went on and I woke up — this vid was taken at 6:30 a.m. EDT, and my body was still on PDT, California time.
We’re incredibly excited for our “The Young and The Thirsty Wine & Book Tour” to land on the Monterey Peninsula, where we were born and raised. To celebrate, anyone who enters the coupon code MONTEREY (all caps) when they check out on this site will get a 20% discount on all books and wine. Two HUGE wine and book events this weekend. Please come! Can’t wait to see you.
OK, we’ve got some hard-and-fast details here for The Young and The Thirsty Wine & Book Tour. We’ll continue to update you when we get finalized information on locales and times. We’ve put up a page on the site where you can see these updates.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: We’ve spent a lot of time seeking out venues in these towns, but then said to ourselves, “Let’s have the people tell us where to go.” So here’s the deal: If you are in one of the cities below and know of or manage a book store, retail outlet, restaurant or club where we could do a signing or wine tasting, please let us know by emailing our publisher at scott@imagine-books.net. We’d also be receptive to coming to private events. Read More
Big night tonight. I’m watching an epic “Bachelor Pad” surrounded by my loved ones at Memphis Cafe in Manhattan Beach. Come on down — we’ll be pouring wine and signing books all night. Really excited about tonight. REALLY excited.
I’m also excited that my great buddy David Good is also making his debut as an author with his new book, “The Man Code,” which you can order today on my site. This book is going to be straight talk to the ladies, very cool and very funny. Please check it out.
Just getting ready for tonight’s airing of ‘Bachelor Pad.’ East Coast airing of the program starts in 10 minutes. Meanwhile we’re gearing up for tonight’s watch & wine party at the historic Harry’s in San Francisco. Please pay us a visit if you’re in the vicinity.
Couple items: We’d love it if any of you want to sell our book, “The Young And The Thirsty,” as an affiliate. It’s a great book and one we’re very proud of; this affiliate arrangement helps broaden our reach. Read More
First and foremost, thank you so much to the many people who wrote us and invited us to make a stop in their town for The Young and The Thirsty Wine & Book Tour. We were originally thinking we’d tour until October, but we got so many great suggestions that we’re going past Thanksgiving (or until the wine runs out). We’re going to be doing book signings by day, wine parties by night.
To know us is to know our dad, Jozsef. (Commonly known as Crazy Joe.) He’s got a pretty incredible story, from literally running for his life past the Iron Curtain to California winemaker. The whole story is here.
In this one, Pops reflects on the joy of seeing his sons become published authors:
Thank you to all of you who’ve sent such sweet letters after last night’s episode of ‘Bachelor Pad.’ If I’d known showing my softer side would result in such positive vibes, I’d have done it a long time ago. Read More
Jesse Kovacs here. Heading into the weekend I was feeling under the weather, as I have been off and on for about a month. I was also coming off my stalker episode, feeling a little chafed and needing to get out of town. I felt the best thing to cure what ailed me was — naturally — Las Vegas. Read More
Jesse Kovacs talks about how we thought we’d be pouring our wine at the annual year-end Victoria’s Secret fashion extravaganza. Then things got crazy …
