Day 1 of Y&T Tour + private parties

Day 1 of our tour is in the books! Great stuff today in Toronto and Waterloo. Dave Good is up here and we’re having a great time. Here’s a video I made this morning when I was slightly less enthused. Things got a lot better as the day went on and I woke up — this vid was taken at 6:30 a.m. EDT, and my body was still on PDT, California time.

Announcing Tour Dates + Want Your Suggestions

youngthirsty_coverpress

OK, we’ve got some hard-and-fast details here for The Young and The Thirsty Wine & Book Tour. We’ll continue to update you when we get finalized information on locales and times. We’ve put up a page on the site where you can see these updates.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: We’ve spent a lot of time seeking out venues in these towns, but then said to ourselves, “Let’s have the people tell us where to go.” So here’s the deal: If you are in one of the cities below and know of or manage a book store, retail outlet, restaurant or club where we could do a signing or wine tasting, please let us know by emailing our publisher at scott@imagine-books.net. We’d also be receptive to coming to private events. Read More

Still looking for love …

It’s hard to believe the Bachelor Pad ride is over. But rather than this being an end, I really see this as just the end of the beginning. Act II is just getting started. I’m optimistic about the opportunities — professional, person and romantic — that are around the corner.

Before I go on, I want to thank all of you for the incredible support you’ve showed me these past couple years, both on the Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad. Those shows have opened the door to infinite possibilities in my life and my family’s, and it feels like you’ve carried us here with your grace. I also want to thank ABC for giving me not one, but two once-in-a-lifetime experiences. These opportunities have been incredible blessings, and ones I don’t take lightly.

I guess I should also make quick mention of my “bro-mance” and my romance. Read More

Jesse Kovacs here!

Big night tonight. I’m watching an epic “Bachelor Pad” surrounded by my loved ones at Memphis Cafe in Manhattan Beach. Come on down — we’ll be pouring wine and signing books all night. Really excited about tonight. REALLY excited.

I’m also excited that my great buddy David Good is also making his debut as an author with his new book, “The Man Code,” which you can order today on my site. This book is going to be straight talk to the ladies, very cool and very funny. Please check it out.

Jesse Kovacs here.

First and foremost, thank you so much to the many people who wrote us and invited us to make a stop in their town for The Young and The Thirsty Wine & Book Tour. We were originally thinking we’d tour until October, but we got so many great suggestions that we’re going past Thanksgiving (or until the wine runs out). We’re going to be doing book signings by day, wine parties by night.

KOVACS BROS. TV — Crazy Joe

To know us is to know our dad, Jozsef. (Commonly known as Crazy Joe.) He’s got a pretty incredible story, from literally running for his life past the Iron Curtain to California winemaker. The whole story is here.

In this one, Pops reflects on the joy of seeing his sons become published authors:

The Horizon

Hey everyone,

Jesse Kovacs here. Been working for three days straight, so I apologize if my writing is a little wobbly.

First, I want to thank all of you for the incredible support for our new book, website, and soon-to-be bottled vintages (Brothers Blend and Rhone Blend). This is without a doubt the most exciting period of our careers, and it’s thanks to all of you. Read More

Hey everybody,
Jacob here, one half of the Jesse Kovacs/Jacob Kovacs book-writing/winemaking team.
What a week it’s been. Our book, “The Young and the Thirsty: 25 California Wines For New School Drinkers,” debuted on Monday and the response has been incredible. Overwhelming, actually. Read More
